MT HARMUKH BASE CAMP

Mt Harmukh is one of the Himalaya’s most impressive mountains (5,300 mtrs). There are several peaks and magnificent lakes and glaciers. We will camp at base camp and trek to high camp. This trek also offers spectacular mountain scenery, beautifully flowered campsites and excellent rainbow trout fishing.

Kashmir is surrounded by majestic snow-capped mountains. In the south west, the Pir Panjal Range rising up to 6000m, separates the valley from the plains.

To the north west, the valley is flanked by the Pangi Range, the principal summits of Mt Harmukh (5142m) and the giant Mt Nanga Parbat (8400m).

To the north is the majestic Ladakh range and the Lidder Valley protected by Kolhai Massif.
